I do not accept insurance since I am considered an out-of-network provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company may reimburse you (call your insurance company to find out). If you are eligible for benefits, payment is still due upon the start of a session. I can provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
I reserve a few spaces in my practice for reduced fee therapy appointments. I may have a space available, so please contact me for more information if this is something you need.
My practice is fully booked currently, but I still have limited openings from time to time. Please contact me if you’d like to book an appointment as I may be available to speak with you.
Due to unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and California’s continuously evolving mandates, I am only conducting sessions online via telehealth. Telehealth therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy.
Absolutely! All sessions will be conducted on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your privacy and confidentiality are my top priorities. The video platform is encrypted and only accessible through a private link.
Therapy can help you understand yourself better and offer solutions and coping skills for problems you may be struggling with. I use a process-oriented approach to therapy, meaning our sessions are oriented towards finding creative solutions to any problems we identify.
I can help you understand how your past influences the present and how it can influence the future. I will help guide you through the steps to improve, but it is ultimately up to you to take action and use the methods we discuss in our sessions offline. As long as you do that, you should see real and positive changes in your life.
Therapy should be an active process, so we will collaborate on finding solutions together. I am here for you and will support you through your journey!
Of course. As a culturally sensitive psychotherapist, I believe it is imperative to discuss these topics. These conversations should be held in a place of healing, support, and empowerment. I will give voice to your thoughts, feelings, and actions with compassion and empathy.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ages 12+. If you need resources for children under the age of 12, click here.
No, I am not licensed or trained to prescribe medication. My goal is to help you find positive ways of coping and healing without the use of medication, but I may suggest you see a psychiatrist if I feel that psychotherapy alone does not help you improve enough
All sessions, whether you’re an individual, couple, or family, are 50 minutes long. I offer 80-minute sessions for couples upon request.
I meet with the majority of my clients weekly, but we can also switch to meeting every other week if I feel that weekly sessions are not necessary.
It depends on your individual needs. Therapy can be as short as one month or as long as a year or more. Every person is different. No matter how long we work together, I aim to help you remain focused and driven to reach your personal goals.
Do you have any more questions I didn’t answer here? Send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
